PENGARUH METODE STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GENAP DI SMP NEGERI 1 SITUBONDO
Abstract
Model pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh
guru demi tercapainya keberhasilan belajar siswa. STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division)
merupakan jenis pembelajaran kooperatif yang cukup sederhana. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh metode STAD terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas
VIII semester genap di SMP Negeri 1 Situbondo. Peneliti menggunakan tipe penelitian deskriptif
dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam
penelitian ini adalah angket dan tes. Hasil perhitungan analisis data diperoleh tℎ????????????????????= 3,5207 ≥
t????????????????????= 1,6694, dengan demikian ????1 diterima, artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan
model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Berdasarkan perhitungan nilai mean kelas eksperimen dan
kelas kontrol didapatkan mean kelompok eksperimen = 90,48 > mean kelompok kontrol = 85,07.
Sehingga disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif
tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi bangun ruang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1
Situbondo. Penulis penyarankan pada peneliti lanjutan, sebaiknya terlebih dahulu dianalisis kembali,
terutama dalam hal alokasi waktu dan fasilitas pendukung termasuk media yang ada pada sekolah.
