KONSEP PEACE EDUCATION DALAM SERAT WEDHATAMA PERSPEKTIF MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM
Abstract
Konsep Peace Education dalam Serat Wedhatama nantinya diharapkan seluruh elemen yang berada di lingkungan lembaga pendidikan dapat bersama-sama untuk bersinergi dalam membangun dan mengembangkan pendidikan yang damai, berbudi luhur serta tetap dapat melestarikan budaya tanpa harus keluar dari koridor manajemen pendidikan yang berlandaskan ajaran agama islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji lebih lanjut terkait pendidikan perdamaian yang termaktub dalam Serat Wedhatama. Pendekatan yang peneliti gunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kepustakaan (library research) dengan sumber data primer sumber utama yaitu Serat Wedhatama karya KGPAA Mangkunegara IV yang telah diterbitkan kembali oleh penerbit BACA dengan judul Serat Wedhatama for Our Time: Membangun Kesadaran untuk Kembali ke Jati Diri, Tangerang pada tahun 2016 oleh Achmad Chodjim. Metode pengumpulan data adalah metode dokumentasi. Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan metode content analysis dan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam ajaran serta nasihat Serat Wedhatama ditemukan sejumlah bait isi yang mengajak pada suatu kebaikan dimana termasuk dalam kategori Positive Peace. Dan di dalam sejumlah bait isi yang lain dinyatakan termasuk dalam kategori Negative Peace yakni mencegah perbuatan yang menyimpang atau tercela. Adapun hal tersebut merupakan selaras dengan upaya manajemen dalam pendidikan yang berlandaskan ajaran agama Islam.
