PENERAPAN STANDARISASI LABORATORIUM OTKP BERDASARKAN PERMENDIKBUD NO 34 TAHUN 2018 DI SMKN 2 PALANGKA RAYA
Abstract
Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana laboratorium OTKP SMKN 2 Palangka Raya telah melaksanakan ketentuan Permendikbud No. 34 Tahun 2018. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metodologi deskriptif digunakan dalam studi ini. Observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi merupakan beberapa metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Di SMKN 2 Palangka Raya, peneliti melakukan pengecekan laboratorium OTKP serta infrastrukturnya untuk melihat bagaimana kondisinya. Tujuan dari melakukan wawancara dengan Kepala Sekolah, Kepala Laboratorium, serta siswa adalah guna mengumpulkan informasi tentang penerapan standardisasi serta tantangan yang dihadapi siswa selama pembelajaran. Prosedur operasi standar serta peraturan terkait menjadi subjek dari upaya dokumentasi. Beberapa laboratorium SMKN 2 Palangka Raya tidak memenuhi persyaratan Permendikbud No. 34 Tahun 2018 secara memadai menurut temuan studi. Prasarana serta fasilitas yang tersedia terdiri dari 19 stasiun kerja, 7 brankas penyimpanan, 3 lemari kayu, 4 printer, 2 LCD, 44 meja, 46 kursi, 2 pengeras suara, serta 4 mikrofon. Namun, komputer yang tersedia tidak mencukupi dan beberapa di antaranya bahkan tidak berfungsi dengan baik. Selain itu, proses pengajuan Dana Alokasi Khusus (DAK) untuk peralatan baru memakan waktu lama. Prosedur operasi standar (SOP) dikembangkan sebagai upaya untuk menetapkan standarisasi, meskipun belum sepenuhnya berhasil. Tantangannya meliputi dana yang tidak mencukupi dan mesin yang sudah usang atau rusak.
