IMPLEMENTASI INTERNET OF THINGS PADA SISTEM PARKIR MASJID
Abstract
Tempat parkir beserta pengelolaannya merupakan komponen penting dalam pelayanan
fasilitas umum, termasuk pada masjid. Masjid sebagai tempat ibadah bagi kaum muslim dan berbagai
kegiatan komunitas sering menghadapi masalah parkir. Khususnya saat waktu Shalat Jumat atau kegiatan
pengajian akbar, jumlah kendaraan di masjid meningkat sangat banyak sehingga jamaah kesulitan
mendapatkan tempat parkir yang kosong. Hal ini juga menyebabkan keramaian dan ketidakpatuhan
parkir kendaraan di masjid. Kondisi ini dapat mengganggu kenyamanan dan keamanan jamaah serta
berpotensi menghambat kegiatan ibadah. Penerapan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) pada sistem parkir
masjid dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk mengatasi masalah ini. IoT memungkinkan pemantauan dan
pengelolaan parkir secara real-time, menyediakan informasi ketersediaan tempat parkir melalui layar
LCD yang dipasang di area parkir. Dengan demikian, jamaah dapat mengetahui tempat parkir yang
tersedia sebelum memasuki area parkir, mengurangi kemacetan dan keterlambatan dalam melaksanakan
ibadah. Sistem ini juga memudahkan pengurus masjid dalam mengontrol dan mengatur lahan parkir
secara efisien. Dengan sistem ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta lingkungan parkir yang lebih teratur dan
efisien serta mendukung kelancaran aktivitas di masjid.
