THE ROLE OF TEACHERS AS AGENTS OF SOCIALIZATION IN THE INTERNALIZATION OF JAVANESE CULTURAL VALUES THROUGH THE EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE OF TRADITIONAL SNACK EXHIBITIONS AND CULTURAL ARTS PERFORMANCES

This qualitative case study is motivated by concerns regarding the erosion of Javanese cultural values due to globalization and the influence of technology impacting Generation Z. The research aims to understand the strategic role of teachers as socialization agents in internalizing these values through the Traditional Snack Exhibition and Cultural Arts Performance at SDI Ma'arif, Blitar City. The method used is qualitative case study, with data collection techniques employing participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results reveal four teacher roles: (1) as Contextual Designer, (2) Participatory Facilitator, (3) Role Model, and (4) Reflection Partner. The process of internalizing values such as mutual cooperation, respect, and harmony occurs through the dynamic stages of Transformation, Transaction, and Transinternalization. This confirms that the effectiveness of character education heavily relies on the teacher's ability to design authentic and meaningful experiential learning. Therefore, this culture-based practice is recommended as an integrated model to strengthen students' cultural resilience.

THE USE OF SMARTPHONE TECHNOLOGY AS AN INNOVATIVE LEARNING STRATEGY TO IMPROVE CONCEPT UNDERSTANDING AND PROBLEM SOLVING

Innovative learning strategies can be defined as approaches that encourage students to apply learning materials to themselves using a variety of engaging and interactive methods and media. The development of digital technology provides significant opportunities to enhance innovative learning methods, thereby helping students better understand concepts and improve their problem-solving skills. Learning motivation is crucial for students in schools because it influences their learning outcomes. The purpose of this article is to discuss innovative learning strategies that can enhance student learning motivation. This article was written using a literature review method by collecting data or sources related to the topic being discussed in the research. The result of this paper is a discussion of innovative learning strategies that can enhance student learning motivation. This study highlights the importance of learning motivation in influencing student learning outcomes and demonstrates that innovative methods such as flipped learning, blended learning, and e-learning can improve the quality of education.

EVALUATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF ATTITUDES AND CHARACTER OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH ASSESMENT OF AFFECTIVE ASPECTS

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of affective assessment in evaluating the development of elementary students’ attitudes and character. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach. Instruments examined include observation, self-assessment, and peer assessment. Thematic analysis was applied to scientific literature from the past decade. Results show that affective assessment plays a crucial role in character formation, yet its implementation still faces challenges in instrument validity and teacher understanding. This research proposes a digital-based affective evaluation model that is more objective and participatory.

IMPROVING READING LITERACY WITH CANVA: A LITERATURE REVIEW ON INTERACTIVE LEARNING MEDIA

Low student literacy can be caused by students' lack of interest in reading, facilities and infrastructure, an unsupportive environment, and the influence of technology. Literacy activities should be implemented in all schools and educational institutions to increase students' interest in good literacy skills. This research aims to analyze the application of Canva-based interactive learning media in improving students' reading literacy through the literature review method. The study collected and analyzed relevant literature from various sources, such as scientific journals, books, and research reports. The main focus is identifying Canva-based media's advantages in interactive learning and its influence on students' reading literacy. The study results show that Canva-based learning media positively impacts students' interest and reading ability by presenting interesting material, such as interactive visuals, animation, and multimedia elements. This media also supports independent and collaborative learning because it is easy to access and flexible to use. Based on the analysis of several pieces of literature, it can be concluded that Canva-based learning media has significant potential to support the effective development of students' reading literacy.

LITERATURE REVIEW: ANALYSIS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRINCIPAL’S LEADERSHIP STRATEGY IN IMPROVING TEACHER PERFORMANCE

Schools are educational institutions that train the personality and develop students' intelligence as part of the intellectualization of the nation's life. Meanwhile, the principal is an educational employee who is competent and given the responsibility to run the school. This study aims to examine the principal's leadership strategies that can be implemented to improve teacher performance. This research uses the literature review method by reading, analyzing, and drawing conclusions. The literature review results are effective leadership strategies, such as instructional leadership. This leadership can encourage the development of teacher professionalism and contribute to the overall success of education.
